Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Spencer Schwellenbach (elbow) is on the 60-day injured list with a fracture in his pitching elbow. Braves manager Brian Snitker said Monday that Schwellenbach has not yet to resume throwing and appears unlikely to pitch again in 2025. There is no official timeline for his return, and he will need an extended build-up program to get back on the mound this year for the Braves. With Atlanta out of the playoff picture, the Braves do not need to push Schwellenbach back this year. If his season is over, Schwellenbach will finish the year with a (7-4) record, 3.09 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, while averaging close to a strikeout per inning.

Atlanta Braves right-hander Reynaldo Lopez (shoulder) has recently resumed playing catch and remains without a timeline for a return. Lopez had arthroscopic surgery for his throwing shoulder on April 1 and was cleared to start throwing again after the All-Star break. He is still in the early stages of his rehab program. If Lopez does not begin throwing off a mound within the next two weeks or so, there may not be enough time left in the season for Lopez to return as a starter. There is a chance he could pitch out of the bullpen in September in lieu of part of his rehab assignment. Otherwise, it will be a lost season for Lopez, who converted from a reliever to a starter last season.

Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Kevin Ginkel (shoulder) is seeking a second opinion on his right shoulder sprain, raising concerns that he could miss the rest of the season. Ginkel was placed on the 15-day injured list on August 4 and has not set a timeline for his return. The 31-year-old has struggled in his seventh MLB season, posting a 7.36 ERA and a 1.64 WHIP across 25 2/3 innings. He was 3-for-4 in save opportunities and recorded six holds before the injury stalled his 2025 campaign. His loss would weaken a pitching staff that already ranks 25th in the league with a 4.55 ERA.

Seattle Mariners' right-hander Bryce Miller (elbow) is set for his second rehab outing in Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday and should throw around 65 pitches. He threw 52 pitches in his last rehab start and continues to build up his workload. If all goes well, Miller could be activated as early as August 12th for his first in the majors since June. The 26-year-old has been on the injured list with elbow inflammation and looks to turn things around after posting a 1.54 WHIP before landing on the IL. Miller has had control issues this year, evidenced by his 4.25 BB:9 in 2025, compared to 2.25 last year. Even though his ERA for this year stands at 5.73, he has been a tad unlucky with a BABIP of .322, which is above league average. Fantasy managers should continue to stash Miller, who is likely to return to Seattle's rotation in mid-August.

Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Gabriel Moreno (hand) has resumed swinging a bat and has started tee work after an August 4 CT scan confirmed his right hand had fully healed. Moreno landed on the injured list on June 19 and was transferred to the 60-day IL on July 18 after suffering a hairline fracture in his right hand from a foul tip on June 6. He is expected to make a return in mid-August. The 25-year-old was slashing a productive .270/.324/.414 with a .738 OPS over 53 games prior to the injury. His return would provide a much-needed boost to a Diamondbacks team losing postseason hopes in the NL West.

Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (shoulder) has been out since early April with a small fracture in the humeral head of his left shoulder. He is now scheduled to start a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma on August 12. This puts the 28-year-old ahead of schedule for his expected return, and the Mariners are aiming for Robles to get 40-50 at-bats before being activated from the injured list. Dominic Canzone has been filling in for Robles in the outfield and looks to share playing time when Robles returns. Fantasy managers looking for speed could add Robles, as he swiped 34 bags last year and had three bases stolen in 10 games this year before his injury.

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Tyler O'Neill exited Tuesday's game against the Phillies in the bottom of the sixth inning with right wrist discomfort. He was replaced in right field by 29-year-old Ryan Noda. O'Neill went 0-for-2 with a popout and a groundout before leaving. The 29-year-old slugger from Canada is slashing .210/.293/.434 with eight home runs through 43 games. He has struggled to stay in the lineup consistently, and with his health once again in question, the Orioles will be without one of their top right-handed power threats for at least the near future.

Seattle Mariners outfielder/first baseman Luke Raley (back) will start a hitting progression on Tuesday and will hopefully start a minor-league rehab assignment this weekend, according to Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times. Raley was placed on the 10-day injured list on July 30 with back spasms but he is working way back and could rejoin the Mariners as early as next week, barring a setback during his rehab assignment this weekend. When the 30-year-old left-handed slugger returns, he'll be searching for playing time between designated hitter and right field for the M's when they face right-handed pitchers. Raley's inconsistent playing time and mediocre bat don't make him much of an option for fantasy managers in mixed leagues. He's currently hitting just .220/.343/.348 with four home runs, 18 RBI and 19 runs scored in his 49 games for Seattle.

Baltimore Orioles right-hander Grayson Rodriguez (elbow) said on Foul Territory on Tuesday that he will be able to go into the offseason healthy and have a normal build-up going into spring training next year. "In about a month and a half to two months, I should be back to throwing bullpens," Rodriguez said. The 25-year-old will end up not pitching at all for the Orioles in 2025 and will have a right-elbow debridement surgery early next week. Rodriguez has flashed high-end rotation stuff already in his two seasons in the majors, but he will go into 2026 as a serious health risk after missing a good chunk of time in 2024 with arm issues as well. The 25-year-old former 11th overall pick in 2018 will surely come at a discount next year in fantasy drafts and will be a great value pick if he can actually stay healthy. G-Rod has a 4.11 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 25.7% strikeout rate in his 43 MLB starts.

Athletics rookie shortstop Jacob Wilson (forearm) is playing catch and running but hasn't yet been cleared to start a hitting progression, according to MLB.com's Martin Gallegos. Wilson is making slow progress after being diagnosed with a fractured left forearm two weeks ago. At this time, there is no timetable for his return, so fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if we don't see the 23-year-old until later this month or even in September. In the meantime, Darell Hernaiz has become useful in AL-only leagues with elevated playing time as the primary shortstop. Although Wilson is a candidate for regression at the plate once he returns from injury, the former sixth overall pick has had a very successful first season in the majors with a .312 average (115-for-169) with 10 homers, 45 RBI, 46 runs and five stolen bases. Keep him stashed in an IL spot in fantasy leagues.

Tampa Bay Rays rookie outfielder Chandler Simpson (finger) is back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game in Anaheim against the hosting Los Angeles Angels and right-hander Jose Soriano, starting in left field and batting leadoff. It Will Simpson's first game starting since he sprained his left index finger in last Thursday's game against the New York Yankees. The 24-year-old should be returned to all starting fantasy lineups for his speed alone now that he's back in action. Since he was called back up to the majors in late May, he's been excellent, slashing .311/.351/.368 with four RBI, 13 runs scored and 13 stolen bases in 30 games. Simpson is a great catalyst for Tampa's lineup in the leadoff spot and should continue to help with runs scored and steals in fantasy as a lineup regular the rest of the 2025 season. He has never faced Soriano in his career.

Chicago White Sox rookie infielder Chase Meidroth (thumb) will take another day off for Tuesday's contest on the road in Seattle against the Mariners at T-Mobile Park. Josh Rojas will make the start at the keystone and will hit ninth against Mariners right-hander Bryan Woo. Meidroth was hit by a pitch on his thumb last week and hasn't started since, although he did appear as a defensive replacement in Sunday's contest. The 24-year-old shouldn't have to go on the injured list after X-rays on his thumb came back negative. In his first season in the major leagues, Meidroth has slashed .252/.330/.319 with only three home runs, 15 RBI, 36 runs scored and 11 stolen bases in 84 games for the last-place White Sox. He's really only useful in AL-only leagues for his speed. Rojas has very little DFS upside in the nine-hole and should be avoided.

San Diego Padres starting pitcher JP Sears has been optioned to Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday. Sears gave up five earned runs on 10 hits across five innings of work during his team debut on Monday. This rough outing pushed him to a 5.12 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and a 101/30 K/BB ratio across 23 starts this season. The expectation is that Sears will be back at some point during the season. For now, right-handed reliever Sean Reynolds has been recalled to take his spot on the active roster. Sears isn't someone that needs to be rostered while he sits in the minors.

Los Angeles Angels third baseman Yoan Moncada has been placed on the restricted list ahead of Tuesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Moncada will be away from the team in order to take his U.S. citizenship test. It's unclear when he'll be back with the team, but he shouldn't be gone longer than a game or two. In a corresponding move, infielder Niko Kavadas has been recalled from Triple-A. Oswald Peraza will take over the hot corner for Moncada during Tuesday's game.

Houston Astros starting pitcher Cristian Javier (elbow) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, according to manager Joe Espada. Javier should be close to returning to the big leagues. He threw 64 pitches over the course of a 3.1 inning outing on July 31. If everything goes well on Tuesday, Javier should hopefully be able to rejoin the Astros rotation after this start. The right-hander hasn't pitched at all this season while recovering from Tommy John surgery from last year. Javier is probably worth a stash in deep leagues with his return looming.

Boston Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony (back) will return to the starting lineup on Wednesday, according to manager Alex Cora. Anthony will miss his second straight game on Tuesday due to back tightness. Cora did mention that Anthony could've played on Tuesday, but the organization wants to be cautious with their 21-year-old star in the making. Masataka Yoshida will draw the start in left field during Tuesday's game. Fantasy managers should make sure to get Anthony out of their lineups on Tuesday, but at least they'll have him on Wednesday.

Detroit Tigers second baseman Gleyber Torres (forearm) was scratched from the starting lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Twins. This seems like a precautionary decision considering there was no word of Torres dealing with any injuries coming into this game. There should be more information on his status later. For now, fantasy managers should consider Torres as day-to-day. Zach McKinstry will slide over to second base and bat seventh versus right-hander Zebby Matthews. Fantasy managers should adjust their lineups accordingly.

Colorado Rockies pitcher Anthony Molina has been recalled to take the mound against the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday. The Rockies are in need of a pitcher with Kyle Freeland (illness), Antonio Senzatela (finger) and German Marquez (biceps) all banged up at the moment. This will be Molina's first start of the season with the Rockies, but he made a handful of bullpen appearances before this. Minnesota Twins second base prospect Luke Keaschall (forearm) was activated from the 60-day injured and will start at second base and bat fifth on Tuesday against the division-rival Detroit Tigers and right-hander Chris Paddack at Comerica Park. Keaschall will join the big-league squad after being out since late April with a forearm fracture. The 22-year-old right-handed hitter only played in seven games at the big-league level with the Twins earlier this year before his injury, going 7-for-19 with two RBI, four runs scored and five stolen bases. The former second-rounder out of Arizona State has the ability to hit for average and power while getting on base frequently and stealing bases, and he should get plenty of run the rest of the 2025 season with the Twins looking to rebuild.

Milwaukee Brewers rookie right-hander Jacob Misiorowski (leg) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Tuesday with a planned mid-August return, according to Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Misiorowski was placed on the 15-day injured list over the weekend with a left-tibia contusion. It's not a serious injury for the 23-year-old, but it allows the Brewers to play it safe with one of the most dominant arms in the game and keep him fresh for the stretch run. The former second-round pick in 2022 has already looked the part in his first seven big-league games, going 4-1 with a 2.70 ERA (3.11 FIP) and 0.96 WHIP, 47 strikeouts and 14 walks in 33 1/3 frames. Misiorowski has high-end fantasy potential for years to come and should already be rostered in all leagues, even with him on the IL.
