Allen Hurns May 26 11:50pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns, who missed five games with a hamstring injury in 2016, went through extensive offseason workout regiments in Phoenix with teammate Allen Robinson and put on extra weight, cut body fat and worked on his route running. The 25-year-old had a career-low 35 receptions for 477 yards and three touchdowns because of the injury. It was a massive disappointment for his fantasy owners after he caught 64 balls for 1,031 yards and 10 scores in 2015. Hurns is still listed second on the depth chart behind Robinson, but the team has high hopes for rookie Dede Westbrook in the slot, and Marqise Lee finished second in receiving yards behind Robinson last year, so Hurns certainly will face competition for playing time. Don't overlook Hurns in fantasy drafts, though, and he could turn out to be a nice late-round value selection.

Nelson Agholor May 26 11:20pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor has shown improvement in offseason workouts, and head coach Doug Pederson thinks it's because of new receivers coach Mike Groh and the fact that there's more competition after the offseason additions of Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith. Agholor showed more speed and fluidity during workouts after struggling with confidence issues in 2016. Last year was a disaster for the 24-year-old, as he finished with only 36 catches for 365 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games and had the third worst drop rate in the league at 9.1 percent. Because of the offseason additions, Agholor finds himself buried on the depth chart with competition to even make the roster. He's one to watch in training camp, but he should probably be left to the waiver wire in standard formats to start the season.

Julius Thomas May 26 11:10pm ET

The chemistry between Miami Dolphins tight end Julius Thomas and quarterback Ryan Tannehill remains a work in progress during organized team activities. Thomas, soon to be 29, was a fantasy bust his two seasons in Jacksonville, catching just nine touchdowns after combining for a whopping 24 in his last two years with the Broncos. Injuries have also been unkind to him. Miami is hoping Thomas will return to his Denver form now that he's reunited with Adam Gase, but the early returns aren't promising. That's not to say that he'll continue his inconsistent form to Miami, but it just reminds fantasy owners that Thomas is probably too risky to roster as a TE1 for now.

Teddy Bridgewater May 26 4:10pm ET

Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has seen tape of quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee) dropping back and throwing during organized team activities, and the head coach is very impressed with where the QB is in his rehab. "He's still got a long ways to go. But he's progressing as well as anybody could expect, I would think," Zimmer said. However, it still seems likely Bridgewater will begin the year on the Physically Unable to Perform list. It remains somewhat of a long shot to see Bridgewater play at least in the first half of the 2017 season. Sam Bradford should remain the expected Week 1 starter under center.

Leonte Carroo May 26 1:10pm ET

While Miami Dolphins wide receiver Leonte Carroo may be the front-runner for the No. 4 receiver spot based on his draft pedigree, he is by no means a lock to make the final roster. Head coach Adam Gase plans to use receiver Jakeem Grant on the outside instead of solely in the slot. A third-rounder last year, Carroo had just three receptions for 29 yards in 14 games in his rookie season. He's obviously not worth any fantasy attention.

Corey White May 26 3:03am ET

The New York Jets signed free-agent DB Corey White (Bills) Thursday, May 25.

Dalvin Cook May 26 12:03am ET

Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook isn't working with the first-team offense yet but is fitting in nicely, according to offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur. 'He's a very instinctive runner,' Shurmur said. 'He'll get his foot down and gets up the field. He's actually pretty instinctive when it comes to who to block in pass protection and he catches the ball extremely well.'

DeShone Kizer May 25 11:13pm ET

Cleveland Browns QB DeShone Kizer worked mainly with the third-team offense during OTAs Wednesday, May 24, but he did rotate in with the starters.

Justin Gilbert May 25 10:13pm ET

Free-agent CB Justin Gilbert (Steelers) will be suspended for the first four weeks of the 2017 season, according to a source.

Joshua Dobbs May 25 10:13pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Joshua Dobbs is likely to beat out QB Landry Jones for the backup quarterback job, according to former NFL executive Mark Dominik.

Demaryius Thomas May 25 4:20pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas said, "This is the best I've felt in my whole career." It's officially that time of the year where most players insist they are in the best shape of their lives. It's worth noting for Thomas, though, as he dealt with a nagging hip ailment for most of last year, although he still managed to put up his fifth straight year of 1,000 yards with Trevor Siemian under center. Despite turning 30 later this year, Thomas has a good chance of making that six straight seasons with 1,000 yards as the Broncos look to air it out more under new offensive coordinator Mike McCoy.

Maxx Williams May 25 4:13pm ET

Baltimore Ravens TE Maxx Williams (knee) underwent knee surgery this offseason, according to head coach John Harbaugh. Williams is recovering well and is expected to be ready for training camp.

    C.J. Mosley May 25 4:03pm ET

Baltimore Ravens LB C.J. Mosley (shoulder) underwent shoulder surgery this offseason and is being held out of organized team activities, according to head coach John Harbaugh. There are no long-term concerns, however.

Ryan Tannehill May 25 3:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (knee) said he is 100 percent healthy now after recovering from his anterior cruciate ligament injury last season.

Rob Gronkowski May 25 3:13pm ET

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (back) has progressed well enough that he has been cleared to take the field for organized team activities.

Maxx Williams May 25 3:10pm ET

Baltimore Ravens tight end Maxx Williams (knee), who head coach John Harbaugh said had a completely unique surgery, is expected to be ready for training camp. Williams, a second-rounder in 2015, didn't play at all last year. At Baltimore's most crowded offensive position, he's not guaranteed much heading into 2017 and must first prove he's past his injury.

Breshad Perriman May 25 3:00pm ET

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman is making more plays than anyone during organized team activities, according to tight end Dennis Pitta. The former first-round pick is trying to make up for lost time after sitting out all of his rookie season due to injury, and he's working extensively with Joe Flacco to develop chemistry. Perriman had 33 catches for 499 yards and three touchdowns and will be asked to take on an increased role in the passing game in 2017 after the retirement of Steve Smith and departure of Kamar Aiken in free agency. He should be on your sleeper list.

Ryan Tannehill May 25 3:00pm ET

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee) believes his ACL has healed without surgery thanks to stem-cell therapy. Tannehill played in only 13 games last year because of his knee injury, and his progress is worth watching in training camp this summer as he enters Year 2 of Adam Gase's system. Theoretically, he should be able to make improvements in this offense with a strong running game if he can stay healthy, but he'll be a safer top-flight fantasy backup than a low-end QB1.

Laquon Treadwell May 25 2:43pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Laquon Treadwell is having a good offseason so far, according to offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur. Treadwell has been 'on point' from a mental standpoint. He has done well route-running, catching the ball and blocking, too. Shurmur said he's pleased with the progress Treadwell has made from a year ago.

Fantasy Spin: Treadwell needs to take a big step forward this year after really disappointing last season.

Victor Cruz May 25 2:33pm ET

Free-agent WR Victor Cruz (Giants) is signing a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears Thursday, May 25. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Fantasy Spin: Cruz could carve out a role with his new team if he proves to be healthy.
