Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said free-agent WR Antonio Bryant (Bengals) was not in great shape after the team had Bryant in on a tryout during minicamp. 'He's not in very good shape, but he's very natural,' Carroll said. 'He's got terrific instincts for catching the football and getting in and out of breaks.'

Free-agent WR Antonio Bryant (Bengals) is in Washington to participate in the Seattle Seahawks' minicamp, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. Bryant is taking a physical for the club. Bryant has not played in the National Football League since 2009 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010, but never played a game for the Bengals due to an ongoing knee injury.

Bryant's agent said Bryant has made progress in his recovery, but there is no timetable until he meets with the doctor.

The Cincinnati Bengals have released WR Antonio Bryant, according to Mark Maske of The Washington Post. He had signed a four-year, $28 million deal in the offseason which included $8 million in guaranteed money. Bryant is now an unrestricted free agent.
Fantasy Impact: Bryant should find work but he was a huge bust for the Bengals. Didn't even play a game.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Antonio Bryant (knee) said he is making progress in the rehab from his knee injury and believes he is getting close to returning, reports Joe Reedy, of The Cincinnati Enquirer. He said he does not want to be placed on Injured Reserve but does not want to return until he is completely healthy. Bryant said the muscles surrounding his knee are what are causing him problems.
