Running Back Rank: #149 Overall: #654
Jones missed the entire season after tearing ligaments in his ankle before the season started. He needed surgery to repair the injury. But he was hurt early enough last season that his injury shouldn't be a factor this coming year. And Jones was having a strong preseason before getting hurt. Jones has a long road back, though. His numbers have gone down each of the previous three seasons. He did rush for 1,000 yards his rookie season but has less than 700 yards in each of his next four seasons. Jones has value as a backup, but his days of starting are about over. Jones is a quick back with big-play ability. He isn't the biggest back, though, and has a hard time staying healthy (as evident last season).

Jones might be worth a late-round gamble but that is about it. He is a bit of a reach for fantasy teams with his recent track record. He'll be lucky to get 500 or so total yards. |
