San Francisco 49ers RB Brandon Jacobs, who was inactive in Week 14, is voicing his frustrations over his playing time. Jacobs recently posted photos of himself on Instagram in his Giants uniform with his Super Bowl rings. On Saturday, Dec. 8, he posted a message saying he is 'rotting away' on the 49ers. Head coach Jim Harbaugh declined to comment about Jacobs' comments following their Week 14 game. Jacobs has played in two of 13 games since joining the 49ers earlier this year.

The Niners have not announced a timetable for Hunter, however. RBs LaMichael James and Brandon Jacobs will be asked to increase their roles as a result. San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh discussed his vision for RB Brandon Jacobs going forward. 'I think that's all decided on the field. Brandon came here, in training camp was doing very well and got injured. Then he is working his way back. That's a process that's going on, and simultaneously you have some guys who have played very well at that position. So I would say it's a process,' Harbaugh said. Jacobs dressed for the first time in Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks, but he did not get into the game.
