A broken leg kept Davis out much the season, but he showed flashes of brilliance when healthy. He scored touchdowns in two of his last four games and had games of 91 and 74 yards during that stretch. He also averaged 13.3 yards per reception for the season. Davis runs like a receiver, but is built like a tight end. Plus, he has great hands and top athletic ability. He will be a top playmaker in the 49ers offense for years to come.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Davis is a star in the making. He might get overvalued a bit in drafts, so don't jump too early. But he can produce like an elite tight end as early as this season. The 49ers offense is coming alive ? finally.

Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers head coach Mike Nolan said he did not have an answer for why TE Vernon Davis wasn't used more in the team's offense Week 10. "I'm disappointed we didn't utilize him more," Nolan added.
Fantasy Impact: A lot of fantasy owners were disappointed as well. Davis has been a bust this season.
