The Broncos inserted Cutler as starter in Week 13. And Culter played pretty well. He got better as he got more seasoned. Cutler had two touchdowns in all but one game and finished with nine touchdowns compared to five interceptions. And he completed just fewer than 60 percent of his passes. Cutler has a great arm and his accuracy is improving. Plus, he slides around the pocket well and can make some plays with his legs. The starter's job is Cutlers from day one this season, so that should help. And the Broncos have a solid offense with some weapons at receiver, most notably Javon Walker.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Cutler has the makeup to be a top fantasy quarterback. He actually outscored many of the top quarterbacks in the league down the stretch last season. He has obvious potential. We can see him coming close to 3,500 yards and 25 or so touchdowns. He is worth taking a chance on as your No. 1 quarterback.

He will take the device off for the three hours he plays in game and drink Gatorade to give his body a boost instead of letting the machine do it. He will keep a close eye on his glucose levels either between quarters or at halftime.

The Associated Press reports Denver Broncos QB Jay Cutler said Friday, May 2, he realized there was something wrong with him dating back to last season, when he lost 35 pounds and some velocity on his throws. Doctors told Cutler last month that he is an insulin-dependant diabetic. Cutler never worried his career was in jeopardy, however. "No. That's the first thing they said to me: 'It's going to affect your lifestyle a little bit, but you'll be able to continue to play football,' " Cutler said. "I'm not the first athlete to get diabetes and I won't be the last?I've got a lot of people watching me. It's not going to affect me on the field. I'm going to make changes off the field, eating and stuff like that."

The Associated Press reports former NFL QB John Elway was surprised by Denver Broncos QB Jay Cutler's comments regarding WR Brandon Marshall. Elway said Cutler needs to realize Marshall is still a kid and these things might happen. "If that's what Jay feels like he needs to comment on, he needs to do that," Elway said. "Personally, I would've done it to him. Even though I tried to settle things in the press, looking back over the years, it hasn't been the right way to do it."
