Wide Receiver Rank: #26 Overall: #109
Marshall missed the first game of last season because of a suspension, but still finished with 104 receptions and over 1,200-receving yards. Just imagine if he played a full season. Marshall is an emerging star. In the last two seasons, Marshall averaged 103 receptions for 1,295 yards and seven touchdowns. And now he gets to play in an offense that could be even more pass-friendly this coming season. The only issue could be quarterback, though, as Marshall won't have Jay Cutler throwing to him anymore. Marshall did have hip surgery in the offseason, but should be ready for the start of training camp. Marshall is a huge receiver and runs very well for his size. He is a load to bring down once he has the ball in his hands. His attitude and off the field stuff is a bit of a concern, though. Marshall was suspended by the Broncos during training camp and could miss some games because of his actions.

The sky was the limit for Marshall until his antics during minicamp and training camp. Even when he finally finds the field, Marshall could see his production limited early in the season. He is turning into a big risk for fantasy teams. |

| Frank Schwab, of the Colorado Springs Gazette, reports Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall appears to be coming on. He team got favorable matchups against Marshall by lining him up tight and working him across the middle against a safety or linebacker. Marshall appears to be the top option, and he should get better as he gets more comfortable with QB Kyle Orton and the offense. |
| Fantasy Impact: Marshall is probably a good buy low candidate since he hasn't done a whole lot to start the season. He is getting more and more targets. |

| Continuing a previous storyline, Denver Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels said WR Brandon Marshall has done well in his first practices back from suspension. 'He is working back in and getting really familiar with what we're asking him to do. We will see how it goes,' McDaniels said, while adding Marshall's attitude has been 'great.' In regards to Marshall's playing status in Week 1, McDaniels said: 'I think he is a good football player. If he is ready to go and we go through this week of practice and feel like that's the direction we should play on Sunday, then certainly we all know what he can do as a football player. It is a matter of getting acclimated to enough of the game plan and him understanding what's going on, but we'll see as we go through the week.' McDaniels said he has spoken with Marshall more than once and they are looking forward to moving past their previous issues. 'He's out there practicing hard,' McDaniels said. 'That's what we're looking for.' |
