Ryan and special teams coordinator Mike Westhoff have said Clowney, who has been used as a gunner in the preseason, needs to stop being broken down by the single press. Ryan praised Clowney's ability to recover fumbles, though he wanted to see more speed on the field. Clowney also offers explosiveness as a wide receiver on go routes and straight sprints. |
