SUMMARY
Quarterback Rank: #50
Overall: #275

Moore began the season as starter last year for the Panthers but lost the starting job early in the year, got it back but was injured a few weeks later, ending his season. He played six games before tearing the labrum in his throw shoulder. Moore has a long recovery for this injury but seems likely to be healthy for the start of training camp. Moore had five touchdowns to 10 interceptions last season and completed just 55 percent of his passes. Needless to say, Moore had his struggles. Last season might have been his last chance to be a full-time starter in the NFL. Moore is a big kid with a decent arm. He struggles with accuracy as well as his ability to read defenses. Moore remains a work in progress, which isn't good considering he is entering fifth year in the league. He will compete with Chad Henne for the starting job in Miami, getting a chance to start once again.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Moore proved last season he is a reach even in a starting role. Don't bother with him on your fantasy team unless he shows some consistency in a starting role, which isn't likely.
Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland said Tuesday, Jan. 24, that the team is searching for a quarterback 'that can lead us over the hump.' Ireland also wants an offensive weapon in a new tight end and some explosive pass rushers. There is little doubt that Miami wants to upgrade over QB Matt Moore.
Fantasy Impact: Moore played well last season and at least deserves a chance to compete for the job in 2012.

Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore (concussion) is being evaluated for a possible concussion Monday, Dec. 12, and his status for Week 15 is up in the air. Moore showed concussion symptoms on the sidelines after leaving the game in the second half, according to head coach Tony Sparano. QB J.P. Losman would start against the Buffalo Bills in Week 15 if Moore can't play.
Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore (head) suffered a head injury against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 14 and had to leave the game. He went 11-for-19 for 95 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the game.
Fantasy Impact: We'll keep you posted. Moore could miss some time, likely suffering a concussion.

Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore is getting the job done for the Miami offense. He has scored 11 touchdowns (two rushing) in the past seven games while throwing just two interceptions. Moore is also pushing the ball down field, as he has 28 passes of 20 or more yards in the nine games he has played in.
Fantasy Impact: Moore is worth some spot starts down the stretch.
