 Pos: Defensive Line
NFL Team: HOU
Injury: OK
Experience: 0
College: Texas
Height: 77
Weight: 342

SUMMARY
The Texans defense made some strides last season, mostly due to the breakout season by end Mario Williams. And Williams can get even better his third year in the league. Amobi Okoye is another young player along the line that has a lot of talent and should get better, giving the Texans a good core to their defensive line. Linebacker DeMaco Ryans is a star in the middle. He is a tackle machine. But the secondary isn't very good. They need some of their corners to step up and make some strides. The Texans were 26th against the pass last season. The return game is very good. Andre Davis was the best kick return man in the league, scoring three times and average more than 30 yards per return. And Jacoby Jones does solid in punt returns. In just his first season, Jones averaged nearly 10 yards per punt return.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Their sack potential is high, but the secondary is a concern. If you want a lot of sacks and a good special teams, give the Texans a spot on your roster.

Megan Manfull, of the Houston Chronicle, reports the Houston Texans feel DL Frank Okam can make an immediate contribution for the team. "I think he has kind of played the game with his size being an advantage to everything he's done, but we also think he's got some athletic tools to work with movement-wise, so we are trying to add to his game from that standpoint," head coach Gary Kubiak said. "But he's a guy that could help this team very, very early."
The Houston Chronicle reports Houston Texans DL Frank Okam may move into the team's four-man rotation at defensive line. Okam adds size to the interior of the line and has the potential to shut down the run game.
