SUMMARY
The Vikings emerged as the premier rush defense in the league, ranking first and allowing just 74 yards per game. Tackles Pat and Kevin Williams are the big reason for this. They do as well as any tackles in the game against the rush. The pass is where the Vikings struggle, though. They were last against the pass, mostly because teams abandoned the run against this defense. But the corners have a knack for big plays, returning six interceptions for touchdowns. They might give up some big plays, but also make plenty. Maurice Hicks will try and bolster the Vikings special teams. Hicks does a pretty good job on kick returns and Bobby Wade is above-average on punt returns.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
The Vikes are a top-three fantasy defense. Their pass defense should improve after a dismal season. But the defense scores a lot of TDs and limits yards for the most part. And the return game is pretty good. They should be one of the first defenses off the board come draft day.

The Minnesota Vikings announced they have agreed to terms with rookie DT Letroy Guion. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
