SUMMARY
Wide Receiver Rank: #31
Overall: #99

Garcon didn't have quite the year as expected after finishing 2009 on a high note. His numbers weren't terrible but just alright. He had one 100-yard game and finished with 784 yards. He set career highs in receptions, yards and touchdowns, which isn't a surprise considering his amount of playing time. But what was concerning was his numbers were just slightly better than the previous season. Garcon struggled at times last season, dropping passes on occasion while not being on the same page as Peyton Manning all the time. He still has room to grow, though, as he is just 25 and last season was his first as a full-time starter. Garcon still isn't a polished route runner, but improving. He has great speed and is a top deep threat. Garcon also does a good job of making big plays on shorter routes, using his speed to get by defenders.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Garcon has a shot at his first 1,000-yard season. Consider him a low-end No. 2 receiver this season for fantasy teams. He has great potential in a top passing game. Garcon was a little up and down last season, but his consistency should improve with more seasoning. He will get lost in the shuffle some weeks, though, so be prepared for a few down games.
Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay said re-signing impending free-agent WR Pierre Garcon will be a priority for the team this offseason.
Fantasy Impact: Garcon could be the No. 1 receiver for Indy in 2012.

Indianapolis Colts WR Pierre Garcon caught nine passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns in Week 13 against the New England Patriots.
Fantasy Impact: Garcon had a huge game, scoring twice very late in the game. He seemed to enjoy having a new quarterback throwing to him this week, which could be a good thing for him going forward.

Indianapolis Colts WR Pierre Garcon has four touchdowns and 271 yards in just two games since the team made QB Curtis Painter the starting quarterback.
Fantasy Impact: Garcon has developed a nice rapport with Painter and is once again fantasy relevant.

Indianapolis Colts WR Pierre Garcon caught five passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5.
Fantasy Impact: Garcon is quickly forming a nice rapport with Curtis Painter, gaining a lot of fantasy value.

Indianapolis Colts WR Pierre Garcon had just two catches in the Week 4 game Monday, Oct. 3, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but both were good for touchdowns. He had an 87-yard TD reception in the second quarter, and he added a 59-yard reception in the third quarter, giving him 146 yards for the game.
Fantasy Impact: Finally a big showing by Garcon. He remains a weekly risk in the Colts offense but has some upside for the big game - as evident by this game.

Indianapolis Colts WR Pierre Garcon had fsix receptions for a team-high 82 yards in Week 3 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he could have done even more. QB Curtis Painter missed a wide open Garcon for a sure TD in the fourth quarter on what would have been a long gainer.
Fantasy Impact: Garcon finally got more involved. He is a big risk, though, in this offense right now.

Indianapolis Colts WRs Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon each posted three receptions in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns. Collie finished with 24 yards, while Garcon ended up with 28.
Fantasy Impact: Both these guys have little fantasy value right now with Kerry Collins as their quarterback.

Indianapolis Colts WR Pierre Garcon caught five passes for 112 yards and one touchdown in the team's Wild Card playoff game against the New York Jets, according to The Associated Press.

Indianapolis Colts WR Pierre Garcon had six receptions for 93 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Week 14 game against the Tennessee Titans Thursday, Dec. 9.
Fantasy Impact: Garcon is picking up his play at the right time in the season. He is a solid No. 3 right now for fantasy teams.
