Massaquoi missed seven games because of hamstring and knee injuries but wasn't a huge factor when playing with the Browns looking at other options in the passing game. He did have two games with 60-plus yards but had fewer than 30 yards six of nine games. Massaquoi has topped 500 yards in a season just once in four seasons. He hasn't done much since joining the league to prove he is a solid NFL starter. But in fairness to him, he has gotten poor quarterback play most of his time with the Browns, which doesn't help matters for him. Even with that said, Massaquoi seems destined to be a backup this season with the Jaguars. He'll be the No. 3 or 4 receiver for the team. Massaquoi is a better deep threat than anything. He is athletic enough to adjust to the deep ball no matter where it is thrown. Massaquoi is a big, strong receiver with good athletic ability. He does struggle with drops at times and will disappear in the offense some weeks.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Massaquoi might have a few big games but the chances of him being consistent all season are slim. We doubt he improves much on last season with his move to a new team, a team that also had plenty of struggles throwing the ball. His numbers are going the wrong way these days. Go with more exciting options at the position. Past history suggests Massaquoi isn't going to start helping fantasy teams.
