Miller is a former quarterback that made the switch to tight end in college. He has a lot of potential, though. Miller is very fast for the position and is a top athlete. He could be a load to cover over the middle. Miller doesn't have much experience blocking and comes from a small school, which could make his transition tough. The Jags don't have a lot at tight end, but Miller will battle to be the No. 2 or 3 tight end this season.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Miller is a sleeper in another season or two, but we wouldn't expect a big impact this season. He is a project.

Michael C. Wright, of The Florida Times-Union, reports Jacksonville Jaguars TE Zach X. Miller could have a bigger role in the offense in the near future. Head coach Jack Del Rio said the team installed plays for Miller earlier in the season, and Miller believes the team is ready to call them because of his comfort in the offense.
Fantasy Impact: Don't expect much fantasy help from Miller this season, but he is someone to put on your radar for next season.

Michael C. Wright, of The Florida Times-Union, reports Jacksonville Jaguars TE Zach Miller saw some time as a quarterback in the Wildcat formation during OTAs. However, head coach Jack Del Rio said the staff used Miller as a Wildcat quarterback to simulate the offense of the Miami Dolphins, a preseason and regular-season opponent.
