New York Jets RB Joe McKnight said he is not going to give up his roster spot because the team brought in competition. "I don't care who they bring in, they're going (to have to) kill me to take my spot. You understand that now?" McKnight said in the locker room Thursday. "Just because they bring Goodson and Ivory in they already think I'm gone. They just bringing people in for competition, they ain't bringing nobody in to say, 'Joe is done.'"

The New York Jets were able to incorporate RBs Shonn Greene, Bilal Powell and Joe McKnight into the game against the St. Louis Rams in Week 11. Green had 26 snaps, Powell had 28 and McKnight was in on seven snaps. Greene had 18 carries, Powell had 11 and McKnight had four. Powell also caught two passes and ran for two touchdowns. Head coach Rex Ryan plans to use all three backs more evenly moving forward.
