Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell said Mike Kafka has 'just as good an opportunity' to win the starting QB jon as Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne or undrafted rookie Matt Scott. Caldwell had considered signing Kafka earlier in the offseason. The New England Patriots signed him but cut him when they signed Tim Tebow.
Fantasy Impact: We wouldn't expect Kafka to make a strong run at the starting job. He is backup material.
