Tennessee Titans WR Marc Mariani (ankle) said Saturday, June 30, that he battled a high ankle sprain for most of last season, and that injury suffered in preseason limited his effectiveness. He is fully recovered, and battling for a receiver job in camp. 'I feel kind of rejuvenated,' Mariani said. 'Instead of wearing down, I'm getting strong and feeling better. A high ankle sprain isn't an easy thing when you have no rest (during the season). It was tough, but it will never be an excuse.'

Head coach Mike Munchak said he was impressed with how Mariani performed with the offense during practices.
