Dickerson played seven games and failed to catch a pass his rookie season. He played more receiver than tight end, meaning a full-time switch to receiver could be in the works. Dickerson has a lot of competition for playing time at receiver with the Texans, though, so he'll have to have an impressive preseason and training camp to earn a roster spot and some playing time for the coming season.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Dickerson could get a few catches, but he won't get enough work to help fantasy teams. He is a stretch.

Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone said the team was going to use TE Dorin Dickerson at wide receiver during organized team activities, but Dickerson was asked to work as a tight end because several tight ends were not taking part in the workouts. Marrone said he believes Dickerson could help out as a tight end as well as a wide receiver.

Buffalo Bills FB Dorin Dickerson (ankle) was carted off in Week 16 against the Miami Dolphins, and he had an air cast on his ankle. However, after the game, Dickerson posted on his official Twitter account that he expects to play in the Week 17 game against the New York Jets.
