Summary

The Bills have a top fantasy defense/special teams because of their touchdown potential. This unit made a ton of big plays on interceptions and in the return game despite giving up a lot of yards and points. Buffalo ranked 26th defensively but was sixth in fantasy points scored. This unit had 20 interceptions and nine fumble recoveries. The sack totals weren't very good but should be much better with Mario Williams now in the mix at defensive end. He'll really give this defense a boost. Terrence McGee is a big-play threat at cornerback and will help in the return game. Rookie T.J. Graham is expected to take over the punt and kick return duties, though. Graham is a speed demon with big-play ability.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Don't consider the Bills a No. 1 defense/special teams but a good spot starter. They'll be hit or miss for fantasy teams but have big-game potential, especially with Williams now in the mix. The defense should play better throughout the season.

Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Mike Pettine said FS Aaron Williams has done well in his transition from cornerback to safety. 'He's doing a nice job, and that's a difficult thing,' Pettine said. 'You could make the argument, he's a DB and he's staying at DB. But the safety world is very different from the corner world. He's very intelligent. He's soaking it all in. Every day is a challenge for him as far as new concepts in the play book. I think he's done a real nice job buying in and really getting quickly to the graduate level details of it.'

The Buffalo Bills likely will look to take a cornerback at some point during the 2013 NFL Draft because they have decided to move CB Aaron Williams to safety.

Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey said the team does not want CB Aaron Williams (knee) to be playing 50 to 60 snaps a game since he is coming back from a knee injury but may have to out of necessity in Week 16.

Buffalo Bills CB Aaron Williams (knee) is not expected to play Week 14. Head coach Chan Gailey said he was Williams back at around 100 percent but is not sure if he is at that point yet.

Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey said CB Aaron Williams (knee) has made progress from his knee injury and hopes Williams has a chance to be active Week 14. Gailey said Williams was around 75 percent last week and hopes he will be close to full strength this week.
