Harris got some work on special teams as a return man his rookie year but didn't catch a pass. He looked good as a returner, averaging 28.9 yards per kick return. Harris has a chance to grab more work are a receiver this year. He will be given a chance to compete for the No. 3 or 4 job. Harris seems a good fit for the slot. He isn't a big target, but has good moves in space and does a fine job of getting open on shorter routes. Harris isn't much of a deep threat, though, and lacks a top gear.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Harris should be a bigger factor on special teams than as a receiver. But he has a chance to get some work as a receiver and could get 20 receptions for 200 yards with a score or two. He isn't going to help many fantasy teams with those numbers, though.

Fantasy Impact: Harris played well as the No. 3 for the Cowboys and could be getting more chances in this role going forward.

Dallas Cowboys WR Dwayne Harris ignored coaching in Week 11 against the Cleveland Browns. He is taught to call a fair catch when a return wall is set up to the right, and he catches the ball near the left sideline. However, he ignored the coaching, and make it all the way across the field for a big return. 'You see an opportunity like that, you've got to take it,' Harris said. 'If I didn't get a lot of yards, I probably would have got cussed out.'

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said WR Dwayne Harris looked leaner during offseason workouts which was a good thing to see. 'He is looking leaner, and I think that's an important thing for him,' Garrett said. 'Wide receivers coming into the league don't realize the running they have to do in the NFL. Sometimes guys get a little bigger, thinking that's an important thing to be. My experience is most of the wide receivers who play great are as lean as they can be and hopefully naturally strong to handle the physical nature of the position. But you have to be able to run and run all day long over and over.'
