| Updating a previous report, New York Giants TE Jake Ballard (knee) had medication injected into his knee Thursday, Jan. 19, and is questionable for the NFC Championship Game this weekend. Ballard did not practice Friday, Jan. 20. However, he expects to play against the San Francisco 49ers. 'I'm not concerned,' Ballard said. 'I saw a doctor for a little bit last night and performed a procedure and I will be ready to go. They pulled me out to rest me for today.' Ballard said his knee won't heal until the offseason and it's easy to re-aggravate an injury such as the one he's dealing with. |
