Notes
Philadelphia Eagles DEs Vinny Curry and Fletcher Cox are transitioning to new roles in defensive coordinator Billy Davis' hybrid 3-4 alignment this offseason. Curry is now up to 280 pounds after being just over 260 pounds last year. He gained weight organically during the offseason and not at the staff's request. Curry has spent most of the time during offseason workouts as a defensive end, and he has some two-gap responsibilities. Cox is also making the transition to a 3-4 end, although he has some experience with it. 'I did the same thing in college, moving around a whole lot. Defensive end, defensive tackle. It didn't matter where I was,' said Cox, who finished with 5.5 sacks last season as a 4-3 tackle. 'Certain packages, certain situations, they want me outside or they want me inside. I've got to get the job done.'

Philadelphia Eagles DL Vinny Curry is likely to be active in Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers Monday, Nov. 26, according to a team source. The team's second-round pick thought his debut would come earlier. 'I'm pretty sure the fans want to know where their (second-round) pick's at,' Curry said last week. 'I'm wondering the same thing. But it's damn sure not a talent issue. They have their guys set already.'
