The Arizona Cardinals have plenty of depth at the cornerback position, so it will be interesting to see who stays and who goes. CB Patrick Peterson is an unquestioned starter, but it is uncertain who will start opposite him. CB William Gay is considered a good fit to replace CB Richard Marshall (Dolphins) in the hybrid/cornerback role. That leaves CB Michael Adams, Jamell Fleming, A.J. Jefferson and Greg Toler to duke it out for a meaningful role.

Arizona Cardinals CB Jamell Fleming drew the praise of head coach Ken Whisenhunt earlier this week after another impressive workout. 'It seems like every day he's made a play on a ball out there, knocking it down or making an interception,' Whisenhunt said. Fleming is competing for a starting job opposite CB Patrick Peterson, although it is believed CBs William Gay and Greg Toler have the upper hand in the battle. CB A.J. Jefferson is also in the mix.
