The Chiefs didn't throw the ball as often in their new more conservative offense, but Gonzalez still managed 73 receptions for 900 yards and five touchdowns. He remains the top target in the Chiefs passing attack. Gonzalez is a great athlete and an extremely tough cover at tight end. He makes the tough catch in traffic because of his size, but can also outrun defenders because of his speed. Over his career, Gonzalez averaged 72 receptions for 871 yards and six touchdowns - outstanding numbers for the tight end position.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
He isn't a 100-reception or 1,000-yard guy anymore, but still the second best option at tight end. Gonzo is good for about 70 receptions for 900 or so yards and six touchdowns.

In an interview on SIRIUS NFL Radio The SIRIUS Blitz, Kansas City Chiefs TE Tony Gonzalez said he does not want to be traded. Gonzalez also said he feels he can still contribute and thinks he has another three or four years left in him.
