SUMMARY
Quarterback Rank: #9
Overall: #50

Injuries slowed Hasselbeck down last season. He had a knee injury that kept him out of some games and an injury to his non-throwing shoulder required surgery this offseason. This all led to down numbers for Hasselbeck. He completed just over 56 percent of his passes and had nearly as many interceptions (15) as touchdowns (18). But Hasselbeck was a steady producer before 2006, throwing for more than 3,400 yards and getting at least 22 touchdowns in each of the past three seasons. The Seahawks like to throw the ball and have a solid group of receivers, so Hasselbeck should get his chances in this offense. : He could be slowed some early in training camp and preseason action because of the shoulder surgery, but Hasselbeck expects to be fine for the start of the season.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Expect his numbers to rebound, but Hasselbeck isn't quite an elite option. He has never had a 4,000 yard season and his career high in touchdowns is 26. Plus, he has 15 interceptions in three of his last four seasons. Hasselbeck is a solid starter, capable of some big games, but his overall numbers will be just above average.

The Associated Press reports Seattle Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck is not worried about the absence of WR Bobby Engram at the team's offseason training activities. "When Bobby comes back, he'll be the same Bobby we know and love. We know he works hard when he's not here. He'll be a play maker for us like he was last year," Hasselbeck said.

Fantasy Impact: Hasselbeck made a few bad decisions, but did enough for his team to win. He'll need to play better against the Packers.
