Kicker Rank: #9 Overall: #216
A move to Houston was just the thing to revive Rackers. He scored 124 points, which was the second highest total of his career. Rackers also made 90 percent of his field goals, missing just three all season. Rackers did well on long-distance kicks, going 3-of-4 on field goals of 50-plus yards. He did it all for the Texans. Rackers has really improved his accuracy late in his career, making 89 percent or better of his field goals each of the last three seasons. Rackers has 110 or more points five of the last six seasons. He plays in an explosive offense and should continue to get plenty of chances in 2011. Rackers doesn't have a hug leg anymore, but can still make some long kicks.

Accuracy used to be a concern with Rackers, but he has improved in that area. He is a top No. 1 in a good offense. Another season with 120 or so points is expected for Rackers. He'll give you a few long kicks and score consistent weekly numbers. You can't go too wrong with Rackers as your No. 1 kicker come draft day. |
