Bulger made big strides this past season. He wasn't nearly as turnover-prone, taking a more conservative approach in Scott Linehan's offense. Bulger threw a lot more check-down passes rather than forcing passes into coverage. And Bulger enjoyed a career year, setting career highs in yardage, touchdowns and fewest interceptions. Bulger was picked off just eight times all season. Bulger also had eight 300-yard passing days. The Rams offense remains one of the best, so as long as Bulger can keep the turnovers down and continue to make good decisions, he'll post great numbers. Bulger has a quick release and is an accurate passer, making him a great fit for Linehan's offense.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Health sometimes is a concern for Bulger, but Linehan gave him much more protection, keeping him upright a lot more. As long as he is healthy and playing, Bulger is a top-five option at quarterback. The only knock on him is touchdowns ? his career high is 24. If he can improve that, he'll challenge Peyton Manning and Carson Palmer for the top spot in fantasy leagues.
