SUMMARY
Quarterback Rank: #3
Overall: #20

Vick had his best NFL season last year. He got in the first game of the year because of an injury to Kevin Kolb and took off from there. Vick did miss some time with rib and quad injuries, but in his 12 games played, Vick had 30 total touchdowns. He ran for 676 yards, including two 100-yard games. Vick also did a ton of damage throwing the ball, having three 300-yard games. Vick had his first 3,000-yard season as a pro even though he missed four games. Vick made huge strides as a passer last season. He had a career high 63 percent completion percentage. Vick will be the starter in Philly from day one this season. His upside is huge in this offense. He has great options to work with at receiver and can do damage as a runner. Remember, Vick has a 1,000-yard rushing season. Vick is a gifted runner with a rocket for an arm. His accuracy is improving as well as his decision making. His accuracy still leaves him at times, but is much better than past seasons. And Vick is much more accurate on his deep throws at this stage of his career.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Vick goes from fantasy after thought to a guy you could draft first at quarterback. You can make a strong case for Vick to be the top rated fantasy quarterback. He is the top dual threat in the game in a great Eagles offense. The only thing holding Vick back is the potential for injury. His style of play will lead to injury, which is why he has played a full season just once in his career. He is a top-five fantasy quarterback this season, capable of carrying fantasy teams any given week. A season with 3,500-passing yards, 800-rushing yards and 30-plus total touchdowns is very possible if Vick can stay healthy.
Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick is tied with pro golfer Tiger Woods atop an overall list of the most-disliked athletes with scores of 60 percent disliked, according to a poll published by Forbes magazine. Vick led the list despite being tied with Woods because Woods had fewer 'dislike a lot' responses in the poll, Forbes reported.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick said Monday, Jan. 2, that he hopes for a healthier 2012. 'You have to be available for 16 games for this team, and I have to hold myself accountable and have to get away from trying to do too much,' Vick said. 'Not waking up sore on Monday mornings doesn't mean that you didn't give it your all. I think it means you played smart.'
Fantasy Impact: Vick had a strong finish to the season so hopefully that carries over to 2012.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick went 24-for-39 for 335 yards, three touchdowns and one interception against the Washington Redskins in Week 17.

The Philadelphia Eagles want QB Michael Vick to work on putting himself in better position to avoid injuries next season and to cut down on his number of interceptions. 'He puts himself in too many risky situations,' offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said. 'If the game is on the line and it's an important play, I'm fine with it because that's the time to take those risks. But every other time, I want him to be better.'

Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick needs 24 more passing yards to join former QB Randall Cunningham as only the second player in NFL history with 3,000 passing yards and 500 rushing yards in two or more seasons. Cunningham did it in three years in a row from 1988 through 1990.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick said he hopes the team does not make major changes to the coaching staff and roster for next season. 'You look at all the teams that are winning Super Bowls in the last couple of years,' Vick said. 'Those teams have been together for a long time. That's how leaders are born and that's how guys learn to step up and accept the challenge of their role in the offense and the defense. There's got to be a balance. You've got to have veteran guys and leaders who have been together for a long time, who learn to become a voice in the locker room. And these guys are doing it now.'
