Free-agent DE Andre Carter (Raiders) has agreed to a one-year deal with the Oakland Raiders, according to his agent, Carl Poston. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

'He's a lot closer (to top form) than he was, and I think he's only going to get better,' head coach Dennis Allen said. 'He's been a great addition for us, not only on the field, but in the locker room, in the classroom. He's been good to have, and I expect him to continue to get better.'
