| New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is pleased the team signed DL Shaun Rogers, according to Adam Caplan, of FOXSports.com. Payton feels Rogers can thrive in a winning atmosphere. 'I think the one thing was we saw the ability and we saw the talent. He hadn't been on a team that had won during his career and I think all of us were impressed with the interview process and visiting with him,' Payton explained. '...In the environment that we have can help. I think the key is having a vision for what you're asking him to do. I think we do and I think we communicated that well to him. He's big. I think he'll get his weight down to a point and I think he's more efficient when he's at that lower weight than not. I like him. I like him a lot. That's something we're going to have to work on.' |
