Outlook

The Dolphins were supposed to breakthrough last season but it didn't work out as expected. Injuries didn't help matters for the team, though. Miami is healthy this year and has some new players in the mix, which should help for a rebound. Don't expect them to make the playoffs but they can be a .500 team. The defense still isn't great and has some holes. The offense could be pretty good, though, with some new players. The big issue will be the defense, which can be vulnerable to the big game. They'll need to shore up the defense before they can be expected to make the playoffs.
FANTASY BREAKOUT
If he is going to have that breakout season, we think this is the year for quarterback Ryan Tannehill to do it. He has a revamped offensive line, a new offensive coordinator and some new weapons at receiver. Things are really lined up for Tannehill to have a big season. He is always capable of the big game and played well much of the season last year despite having a terrible offensive line in front of him. He should do much better since he isn't likely to be running for his life most games this season.
FANTASY DUD
He signed a big contract with the team this offseason but that doesn't mean running back Knowshon Moreno will be handed a bunch of playing time. He was out of shape in offseason workouts and worked with the second team much of the time. This wasn't a good start for Moreno. He also has the talented Lamar Miller to compete with for carries. Miller probably has more talent than Moreno and could grab playing time for him if he can start running with consistency. It is just going to be really hard for Moreno to match his last season with the Broncos.

Team Notes

Sep 28, 11:32 PM Miami Dolphins RB Lamar Miller had 12 carries for a game-high 64 rushing yards and two scores in the Week 4 game against the Oakland Raiders in London. He also had two receptions for three yards.

Fantasy Impact: Miller has played pretty well all season and has value as a low-end No. 2 back right now. He makes some big plays on a weekly basis.
Sep 28, 11:32 PM Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill completed 23 of his 31 pass attempts for 278 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Week 4 against the Oakland Raiders in London.

Fantasy Impact: It was a nice rebound game for Tannehill, but he had a great matchup. He still is a risk for fantasy teams right now.
