2016 DRAFT GUIDE
Team Grade:

Quarterbacks: Running Backs:
Wide Receivers: Tight Ends:
Defense: Kickers:

Outlook

A new coaching staff should be a positive for the Dolphins, especially the offense. But the defense remains a bit of a concern. It was inconsistent last year despite having plenty of talent. There remains some holes on that side of the ball, which could hold back the Dolphins from landing a playoff spot. A season around .500 seems likely for this squad.
FANTASY BREAKOUT
Receiver DeVante Parker had an injury-plagued rookie season but is healthy and ready to take a prominent role in the offense from day one this year. Parker showed his worth late in the year last season, having 80-plus yards four of his last six games. He is a big-play threat with a ton of ability .He can hit the 1,000-yard mark and near double-digit touchdowns in this offense.
FANTASY DUD
A new coaching staff should be a positive for receiver Kenny Stills but having Parker pushing him for playing time isn't a good thing for Stills. He had an up and down first season with the Dolphins and much of the same should be expected this year. He might have a few big games but will disappear in others. His targets will be erratic, fighting for touches with Jarvis Landry and Parker. We don't see a sudden turnaround in year two for Stills.

Team Notes

Jun 23, 01:33 AM Miami Dolphins CB Jordan Lucas said Wednesday, June 22, that he worked both on the boundary and in the slot over the past month. He is battling CBs Ifo Ekpre-Olomu and Tyler Patmon for the backup nickel job behind projected starter CB Bobby McCain.

Jun 23, 01:33 AM Miami Dolphins WR Leonte Carroo made a favorable impressive on the coaching staff during the team's offseason program. He said Wednesday, June 22, that his first priority is losing weight. 'I'm 217 now, trying to get down to 210,' Carroo said. 'You become faster when you shed some pounds. I don't have any bad weight on me. That's what I was at the combine. Why not be as fast and explosive as I can be?'

Jun 22, 10:23 PM Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill has a new head coach in Adam Gase, and the man in charge is trying to extract more from his signal caller. Gase's approach - besides extremely detailed teaching - also includes pushing Tannehill to his limits but also giving him more freedom than he has ever had. 'I put a lot on (Tannehill's) plate. It's almost to the point where it's probably too much this fast. I want to see where the breaking point is. He's been doing a good job of responding,' Gase said last week.
