Outlook

The Eagles were a mess last year but still finished 7-9. The team has a new coach in place (Doug Pederson) and plenty of talent on both sides of the ball. This defense can be very good if it comes together. The offense might be the bigger concern with a lack of top options in the passing game and a starting running back that is injury prone. Even with that said, the Eagles play in a below-average division, so they can challenge to win the division.
FANTASY BREAKOUT
Receiver Nelson Agholor had a rookie season to forget last year. He didn't make many big plays despite getting his chance to start much of the year. A nagging ankle injury also was a factor in his poor play. Either way, he was a bust for the Eagles and fantasy teams. But he still has plenty of talent and should get first shot to start this year for a new coaching staff. Don't forget about Agholor because of last year. He has a good chance to bounce back in an offense that might be better suited for him and being 100 percent healthy. He has the potential for a 1,000-yard season as a starter for the Eagles.
FANTASY DUD
Quarterback Sam Bradford might open the season as the starter but Carson Wentz could take over before long, especially if the team struggles. Bradford continues to be up and down in a starting role. He showed promise at times last year but didn't have a big season in an offense that seemed to fit him well. If he didn't do it last year, he might never be that top fantasy producer. Go with other options come draft day.

May 25, 02:43 PM Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich said that the order set with QB Sam Bradford as the No. 1, QB Chase Daniel as the backup and QB Carson Wentz as the third guy is 'probably not the right impression.' 'But the other thing that -- as coaches -- that you've got to establish is a culture of competition. This is one of the most competitive industries in the world and so, to say that there's not competition, that's just the furthest thing from the truth.'
