Outlook

The Eagles are a team on the rise. This team made big strides last season and could be even better this year. The offense could be scary good, especially with reports in the offseason about the team working at an even faster pace this year. The defense also has the pieces in place to do well. The key might be the play of the secondary. If this unit can make strides, it wouldn't surprise to see the Eagles not only win the division title again but also contend for a Super Bowl spot.
FANTASY BREAKOUT
Receiver Jeremy Maclin is going to have some big shoes to fill this season, returning from his torn ACL and serving as the No. 1 receiver for the Eagles. We think he'll be up to the task, though. Maclin has never topped 1,000 yards in a season but is primed to do so this season. The Eagles run a ton of plays and Maclin could get the most targets on the team. He has big potential for that breakout season. He really hasn't lived up to expectations to date, posting decent but not great numbers throughout his career.
FANTASY DUD
Receiver Riley Cooper had a career season last year but his overall numbers still weren't great by any means. He failed to top 50 receptions for 900 yards. He was productive but don't overvalue him come draft day. We don't see a big bump in production, especially with DeSean Jackson gone. Jackson did a good job of drawing attention in coverage, making it a bit easier for Cooper to get open.

Team Notes

Nov 23, 06:12 PM Philadelphia Eagles PK Cody Parkey kicked five field goals in Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans, including a 50-yard effort. He is the first player in franchise history with four or more 50-yard field goals in a single season.
Nov 23, 06:12 PM Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (oblique) left the Week 12 game against the Tennessee Titans due to an oblique injury, but he was able to return. He finished with four receptions for 30 yards.
Nov 23, 06:12 PM Philadelphia Eagles RB LeSean McCoy is averaging 95 yards per game and 4.5 yards per carry over the past seven weeks.
Nov 23, 05:02 PM Philadelphia Eagles RB LeSean McCoy carried 21 times for 130 yards and a rushing touchdown in Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans, and he added one reception for just one yard.

Fantasy Impact: McCoy had a big game and looked like the elite back from last season. Hopefully this is a sign for things to come for the rest of this year.
Nov 23, 05:02 PM Philadelphia Eagles QB Mark Sanchez completed 30 of his 43 pass attempts for 307 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Week 12 win against the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Impact: Sanchez played a much better game this week but remains a low-end No. 1 or top No. 2 for fantasy teams in a starting role.
Nov 23, 05:02 PM Philadelphia Eagles RB Darren Sproles carried six times for 25 yards and a touchdown in Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans, and he added three receptions for 14 yards.

Fantasy Impact: Sproles isn't getting a ton of work but doing well in finding the end zone.
Nov 23, 03:03 PM Philadelphia Eagles RB LeSean McCoy rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries in the first half of the team's Week 12 game.
Nov 23, 02:32 PM Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (oblique) will be able to return to the team's Week 12 game after missing time with an oblique injury.
Nov 23, 02:12 PM Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (oblique) suffered an oblique injury in Week 12 and is considered questionable to return.
