Outlook

The Seahawks have some holes to fill on both sides of the ball but remain a very talented team. Seattle might be the favorite to win the NFC. They have an elite quarterback and defense, and one of the top coaches in the game. Things are looking up for this squad once again and a return to the Super Bowl would not be as surprise. This team just seems to reload with top, young talent every year.
FANTASY BREAKOUT
Running back Thomas Rawls came out of nowhere last year to claim the top backup job for the Seahawks. He got some starts because of injury and did a great job for the Seahawks. He is going to get to start from day one this year in an offense that has produced big-time fantasy running back numbers. Rawls doesn't come without risk for fantasy teams but certainly seems setup for that breakout year in a starting role. He can be an elite fantasy back in this offense.
FANTASY DUD
Receiver Doug Baldwin was a huge surprise last season, emerging as an elite fantasy receiver. He vaulted into that category because of his ability to find the end zone. He scored 14 touchdowns on the season, which shattered his career best numbers. Those big touchdown numbers are probably out of the norm, though. And if you look at the rest of his numbers, Baldwin isn't in that elite group of receivers, having just three 100-yard games and finishing with just more than 1,000 yards. Baldwin is a guy that will help fantasy teams but don't on a repeat of last season.

Fantasy Impact: We don't see him coming back but don't totally rule it out just yet.
May 11, 12:23 PM Seattle Seahawks WR Kenny Lawler converted 72.7% of the time on contested catches last season at California, according to NFL.com's Matt Harmon. Lawler's 4.64-second 40-yard dash time could be a big reason he fell to the seventh round in the 2016 NFL Draft. 'He had a great camp,' Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said. 'He showed us that he has a marvelous catching range. We thought he had as good of hands as anyone in the draft and felt very fortunate to get him where we did, and he had the opportunities and he showed it. He made plays down the field, made plays in traffic, running around. I think he has a big upside in terms of development.'
