| | | Seattle Seahawks |
OutlookThe Seahawks took a bit of a step backward last season but not much. They remain about a .500 team capable of making the playoffs if all falls their way. Seattle's offense should be better with a few new weapons in place but remain far from explosive like so many other teams in the league. And the defense remains middle of the road, which isn't good or bad for them. Seattle just seems like a very average team. |
Matt Flynn, QB. Flynn isn't guaranteed the starting job but certainly seems the best fit with the most upside for the job. He should be the starter to open the season. And while the Seahawks lack some weapons at receiver, they will throw the ball and had some limited success last season even with below average quarterback play from Tarvaris Jackson. Flynn should be able to have some more success for the Seahawks and be worth some spot starts for fantasy teams. |
Sidney Rice, WR Rice is another talented player that falls into our "dud" category. But Rice is coming off shoulder surgery to both shoulders and has missed a lot of playing time two of the last three years. He is no sure thing to hold up. And even if healthy, how big can his numbers be in this offense? Rice is another guy to don't overpay for based off his name and past history. Let someone take him come draft day. |
