Tennessee is a team looking better and better. They had a season to forget last year but added more talent this year on both sides of the ball. It will take some time for this team to come together but the franchise looks to be headed in the right direction. Much of this season will depend on the development of Mariota. If he can get up to speed quickly, the Titans can have some success this year. They won‚??t make the playoffs but could challenge the .500 mark if the team develops quickly.
Improved quarterback play should be a real positive for Kendall Wright. He has shown good things through the years but not had that big season just yet. Things can change for Wright this year, having a quarterback that should target him often. Wright is a solid possession receiver that should be a great safety valve for rookie Marcus Mariota. Look for Wright to have his best season to date and be a solid weekly play in PPR formats in 2015.
The Titans used a second-round pick on receiver Dorial Green-Beckham. He is a very talented receiver that certainly looks the part of a top NFL receiver. But Green-Beckham didn‚??t play at all last season in college after transferring to Oklahoma because of off the field issues at Missouri. He could take some time to get back up to speed after missing all of last year on the field. Plus, Green-Beckham didn‚??t produce consistently while playing for Missouri. He has the talent to produce but needs to show it on the field. It might take a few years before Green-Beckham reaches his potential in the NFL.

Team Notes

Jul 22, 08:32 AM Tennessee Titans RB Bishop Sankey is the odds-on favorite to start in Week 1 because he has a year of experience and a full offseason under his belt.

Fantasy Impact: Sankey isn't a sure thing by any means but might be a little undervalued right now because he should open the season as the starter for the Titans.
Jul 22, 02:02 AM Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter is expected to take part in training camp when it opens, as the team will let the legal process play out, according to a source. Hunter was arrested earlier in the month of felony assault.

Fantasy Impact: This will keep him on the field for now. But he could face a suspension if convicted of any wrongdoing.
Jul 21, 05:12 PM Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter was released from jail on a $25,000 bond Tuesday, July 21. Hunter had been charged with malicious wounding in an incident earlier this month. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 3.
Jul 21, 10:52 AM Updating an earlier report, Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter has been charged with one count of felonious assault. According to the jail report, the charges are 'malicious intent, stabbing, cutting, wounding.'

Fantasy Impact: This doesn't sound good at all. He could get suspended a long time if the charges stick.
Jul 21, 09:12 AM Updating previous reports, Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter will have a bond hearing and arraignment at 2 p.m. ET Tuesday, July 21, in Virginia Beach, Va.
Jul 20, 06:42 PM Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter was arrested Monday, July 20, and has been charged with assault because of an incident earlier this month. Hunter was allegedly involved in a fight at a bar in Virginia Beach that sent a person to the hospital.

Fantasy Impact: Not good. A suspension could be next stay tuned.
Jul 11, 09:33 PM Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker was the only tight end to have two games with more than 140 receiving yards last year, and his 14.1 yards per catch were the second most among tight ends with at least 50 catches.
Jul 03, 10:03 PM Tennessee Titans QB Marcus Mariota will help make the receivers more dynamic because of his 'unbelievable accuracy,' according to WR Harry Douglas. 'If you have an accurate quarterback, it allows us to get more yards after that catch,' Douglas said.
Jun 18, 05:32 PM Tennesse Titans TE Taylor Thompson was waived Thursday, June 18.

Fantasy Impact: Thompson could be about done in the NFL. He has done little since entering the league.
Jun 17, 02:13 PM Tennessee Titans TE Dorin Dickerson (Achilles') will undergo season-ending surgery in the near future to repair his ruptured Achilles' tendon.
Jun 09, 06:13 PM Tennessee Titans RB Bishop Sankey believes participating in more organized team activities this offseason has helped him a lot. Sankey missed most of last year's OTAs due to PAC-12 school rules. 'I've been able to kind of start from scratch,' Sankey said. 'I definitely feel more comfortable with pass protection, initial reads with running plays and everything.'
Jun 08, 02:42 PM Tennessee Titans RB Bishop Sankey has looked impressive during non-contact drills this offseason, in the opinion of The Tennessean's Jim Wyatt. Sankey did not participate in offseason workouts last year because of school commitments.
Jun 05, 07:42 AM Free-agent LB Colin McCarthy (Titans) has officially retired from the NFL after four seasons. McCarthy had various health issues through his four years, including a concussion, shoulder and ankle problems.
Jun 04, 09:32 PM Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker said he understands that the team needs to win more games if he is going to receive recognition for his individual accomplishments. 'Last year, I felt like I did more and no one cared,' Walker said. 'I broke records and scored touchdowns and no one cared. We've got to win more as a team.'
Jun 04, 06:42 PM Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter has seen some time in the slot position during organized team activities. Head coach Ken Whisenhunt said Hunter may be used in the slot to help keep tabs on who's going where on defense and to force the opposition to prepare for different looks.
Jun 02, 06:53 PM Tennessee Titans CB Brandon Harris (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament Tuesday, June 2, during organized team activities. He is likely out for the season.
