Wide Receiver Rank: #214 Overall: #662
A return to Pittsburgh didn't necessarily positively impact Randle El, but he did well in his role as a reserve off the bench. Randle El caught 22 passes, which was down from his previous three seasons, but he had a few big games, including a 66-yard performance Week 10. Randle El had three straight seasons of 50 or more receptions before last season. At age 32 (before season starts), his days as a big-time receiver are likely over. He can still serve a role as a reserve and special teams player, though. Randle El isn't a big target, but makes things happen when the ball is in his hands. He is very quick with plus moves in space. His days of being a top return man are about over as he doesn't possess the same quickness as past seasons.

Randle El has never been a good fantasy receiver, so don't expect a turnaround at this stage of his career. He hasn't scored a touchdown two straight seasons and his career high for scores is four. Randle El isn't worth a roster spot unless he starts getting consistent targets and catches, which is unlikely. |
