Leftwich found his way into the starting lineup last season because of injury but lasted just a game because of a rib injury. He also wasn't great as a starter, going 18-of-39 for 199 yards with an interception. He did rush in a score during the game, though. Leftwich did little to dispel he is nothing more than a No. 2 or 3 quarterback. Leftwich is 33 years old and his best days are behind him. He is a serviceable backup because of his starting experience and track record. Leftwich has a strong arm, but a long delivery, which can make him erratic and hold the ball a little longer than the average quarterback. Leftwich isn't too fast but can make plays with his feet.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Leftwich was never a great fantasy player even when he was starting (career high in touchdowns is 17). So even if he manages to get some starts in 2013, Leftwich isn't likely to be much help to fantasy teams.
