Quarterback Rank: #55 Overall: #288
Grossman proved again in '08 he isn't an NFL starting quarterback. He got some starts in place of an injured Kyle Orton, but Grossman didn't crack 200 yards in any game and had two passing touchdowns to two interceptions. For his career, Grossman completes just 54 percent of his passes and has more interceptions (35) than touchdown passes (33). Grossman will make some big plays, but also tries to force too many throws. He also struggles with decision making and accuracy at times. At this stage, Grossman is clearly suited for backup duty, a role he'll try and win for the Texans.

Even if he gets some starts, Grossman isn't worth using. He has posted the occasional big fantasy game, but is too erratic for fantasy teams because of his wildly inconsistent play. |
