Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew said he is happy WR Nate Burleson will be on the team next season because of his play on the field and his leadership on the team. 'He just brings a lot to the table,' Mayhew said. 'He makes plays for us, moves the chains on third downs and just a great teammate, great guy to have in the locker room, a solid veteran presence on our team. Gives us a lot of leadership and we've been talking about we need more leaders. He's one of the leaders we need so we're glad to have him with us.'
