Quarterback Rank: #7 Overall: #45
Romo had another late-season meltdown, but that didn't impact many fantasy teams. His overall numbers were solid. Romo missed three games with a broken pinkie, but still managed to throw for nearly 3,500 yards and scored 26 touchdowns. In his last two seasons as the Cowboys full-time starter, Romo averaged 32 total touchdowns and 3,830-passing yards. The Cowboys remain an explosive offense with a lot of weapons for Romo to use. Romo has a great arm and does a terrific job of completing throws on the run. He is very athletic. Romo does struggle with forcing passes at times, though, similar to Brett Favre. But he throws a good deep ball and can strike in a hurry.

| Nick Eatman, of DallasCowboys.com, reports the Dallas Cowboys offense ranks 21st in touchdown conversion in the red zone this season, but QB Tony Romo does not think anything should be changed because the players just need to execute better. 'I think you just have to stay the course. The reality of it is we had some plays to be made. Myself, different personnel, different people. We just have to make a play, whether we hold up a block a little longer, or I throw it a little bit better. Someone catches it with a couple of people around there. That's part of executing. We've worked at doing that this last week and a half. Hopefully that will show this week,' Romo said. |
