SUMMARY
Tight End Rank: #5
Overall: #72

Winslow missed the last four games of the season because of an ankle injury. He was having a down season before getting hurt, though. Winslow did have a 100-yard game, but had just one other game with 50-plus yards all season. The entire Browns offense was a mess, which didn't help matters for Winslow. He gets a new start with the Bucs. Tampa isn't a prolific passing team, but Winslow should be a big part of the offense. He is a top talent, getting 80-plus receptions two of the last three seasons. Winslow has good speed and can run routes like a receiver. And his size makes him tough to bring down in the open field. All his knee surgeries are a concern, but Winslow hasn't been too slowed by knee stuff the last three seasons, which is a plus.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Winslow is a top-five option. He moves to a better offense and his red-zone chances should improve. His lack of scores was his only knock the last few years. Winslow is a good bet for around 80 catches for 850 yards. He can near 10 touchdowns in his new offense.
Buccaneers.com reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Kellen Winslow is not taking part in team drills Tuesday, Aug. 18. He is running around with the team's other tight ends, but not wearing pads. Winslow is not injured, the team just has him on a once-a-day schedule. He and TE Jerramy Stevens are basically alternating practices.

The St. Petersburg Times reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Kellen Winslow will be used extensively in the team's offense this year. Offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski believes in a widespread use of his tight ends. The Buccaneers have a thin group of wide receivers that do not have a lot of experience, so the Buccaneers believe Winslow can help fill the gap and essentially serve as a third receiver. Winslow is playing at tight end and splitting out wide. He has also impressed his teammates with his catching ability and route running.

Charlie Campbell and Jim Flynn, of PewterReport.com, report Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Kellen Winslow said he like the new offense offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski has brought to the team. 'It's a very simple offense and I like it because it's not too much in terms of volume of words. It's tight end friendly, it's running friendly and it's wide receiver friendly. Whoever gets open is going to be open and get the ball. We're also going to run the ball. I'm just going to do my best to be a piece of the puzzle and make plays,' Winslow said.
