Tynes didn't get a ton of chances for field goals last year (24) but was able to score 100 points, giving him three straight seasons of at least 100 points. He has back-to-back 100 point seasons, though, which isn't too high for a kicker these days. The Giants aren't providing a ton of chances for him, though, giving Tynes 47 field-goal attempts the last two seasons. He plays in a good offense, though, and could see a bump in chances this season. He did have 32 field-goal attempts in 2009 for the Giants. Tynes will struggle at times with accuracy, but has improved in that area through the years. He has a strong leg and plays in a good Giants' offense.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Tynes has potential in a very good offense. He always seems on a short leash, but keeps preserving as starter for the Giants. He is an upper echelon option as long as he is the Giants' starting kicker. His numbers don't lie. A full season should produce around 115 points.

New York Giants PK Lawrence Tynes, who is the only kicking in NFL history with two postseason overtime field goals, thinks about kicking the game-winner in Super Bowl XLVI. 'You think about it,' Tynes said. 'We're at this game. It would only be right if I think about it. Of course, a lot of things would have to happen for that to come true, but you have to be ready.'

New York Giants PK Lawrence Tynes kicked a 31-yard field goal in overtime in the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, Jan. 22. Tynes has two game-winning kicks, also sinking the Green Bay Packers in 2008 in the NFC title game.
