'I'm excited about it, I really am,' Gould said. 'Competition is healthy, at every position, and it only makes all the players better. Chicago Bears PK Robbie Gould was critical of the condition of the field at Soldier Field during the team's Week 10 game and indicated the field could be a factor when deciding to re-sign with the team when his contract is up. 'If those are the [field] conditions we've got to play in, I just have to adjust, and obviously those are the type of situations you look for in re-signing with teams,' Gould said. 'I have a year left on my contract. I hope to stay a Bear. And those will be situations that I'm going to take into [consideration]. I don't know if I want to deal with that as I get older as a kicker.'
Fantasy Impact: You can't blame him. He is a kicker on the turf on that field can be very bad at times.
