Summary

Kicker Rank: #20All Players: #432
Gould broke the 100-point mark for the sixth straight season last year. He made a solid 87.5 percent of his kicks, scoring 121 points. Gould has been rock solid for the Bears thru the years. He has made 85.8 percent of his field goals for his career and averages 115 points per season. Gould also is improving on his long-distance kicks, making 11-of-13 field goals from 50 or more yards the last three seasons. Gould doesn't have a booming leg, but is a very accurate kicker, getting plenty of chances in an above-average Bears' offense.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Gould probably won't lead the league in scoring, but his numbers will be above average for fantasy kickers. He is good for around 115 points and a few long-distance kicks. He is a more than capable No. 1 for fantasy teams.

Chicago Bears PK Robbie Gould (leg) was at last week's mini-camp, but he did not kick. Gould welcomes the challenge presented when the team signed PK Austin Signor. 'I'm excited about it, I really am,' Gould said. 'Competition is healthy, at every position, and it only makes all the players better. Hopefully I can learn a little bit from Austin, and he can learn a little bit from me. This is exactly what the Bears are supposed to do. All good organizations create competition. It's healthy. I'm looking forward to it. Competition brings out the best in everybody.'

Updating a previous report, Chicago Bears PK Robbie Gould (calf) suffered a left calf injury before the Week 14 game against the Minnesota Vikings, according to head coach Lovie Smith after the game. Chicago Bears PK Robbie Gould was critical of the condition of the field at Soldier Field during the team's Week 10 game and indicated the field could be a factor when deciding to re-sign with the team when his contract is up. 'If those are the [field] conditions we've got to play in, I just have to adjust, and obviously those are the type of situations you look for in re-signing with teams,' Gould said. 'I have a year left on my contract. I hope to stay a Bear. And those will be situations that I'm going to take into [consideration]. I don't know if I want to deal with that as I get older as a kicker.'
Fantasy Impact: You can't blame him. He is a kicker on the turf on that field can be very bad at times.
