Jacksonville Jaguars TE Marcedes Lewis said he would not be in favor of the team adding New York Jets QB Tim Tebow, who is not expected to return in 2013. General manager David Caldwell has said he doesn't see Tebow joining the Jaguars. 'We need a guy that's going to put us over the hump right now. Not a project,' Lewis said of Tebow.

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey said the team has made an effort to get TE Marcedes Lewis more involved recently. 'We have put more in just because of his production,' Mularkey said. 'Some of the things he's showed us; he can do some things better than we thought he could so we've purposely found more things for him to be involved.' Earlier in the year with the offensive line in flux, Lewis often needed to help in pass protection, and QB Blaine Gabbert was not willing to take chances in tight coverage.
Fantasy Impact: It makes sense to get him involved as he makes plays. Lewis could help fantasy teams down the stretch.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Marcedes Lewis has seven catches for 96 yards and two touchdowns since QB Chad Henne has taken over at quarterback. Pass protection and short routes were required of Lewis for most of the year and his numbers suffered. Henne, however, has been willing to throw the jump ball-type pass and into tight windows downfield.
Fantasy Impact: The entire passing game is benefiting from Henne starting at quarterback.
