Quarterback Rank: #41 Overall: #233
Clemens got in just a couple games, playing behind Brett Favre last season. But he gets a chance to start this season with Favre gone. He'll compete with rookie Mark Sanchez for the job. Clemens has some starting experience, but hasn't excelled in a starting role just yet. He knows the Jets offense, though, and has the talent to be a solid starter. Clemens is fairly mobile and has a decent arm with a quick release. He also is very cerebral, which will help his development as a starter.

Favre posted some solid numbers in a starting role in the Jets offense, so Clemens has some potential. But Sanchez is the man in New York and should be the starter at some point this season even if he doesn't win the job in training camp. Because of this, Clemens isn't much of a fantasy options this season. He might have some value as a No. 2 early in the season, but that is about it. |
