SUMMARY
Quarterback Rank: #87
Overall: #483

Clemens had two pass attempts the last game of the season. He has attempted just 33 passes the last three seasons. He was the No. 3 quarterback for the Jets last season but got extended playing time as the Jets' starter for most of the '07 season. He hasn't exactly made a name for himself, having seven touchdowns compared to 11 interceptions for his career. He remains backup material but a move to Washington will at least give him a chance to compete for the starter's job with some other mediocre quarterback options. Clemens is fairly mobile and has a decent arm with a quick release. He also is very cerebral, but tends to make too many mistakes despite knowing the offense and what the opponents are giving him.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
His career path hasn't gone as expected, failing to progress a whole lot through the years. He gets likely one last shot to win a starting job this season but don't count on it. He is backup material more than anything.
St. Louis Rams QB Kellen Clemens went 14-for-31 for 226 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 17 against the San Francisco 49ers. He also rushed for 18 yards and one touchdown on two carries in the game.
Fantasy Impact: He looked to suffer a pretty serious leg injury late in the game but played pretty well against a good defense before the injury. He probably played well enough to earn a top backup job with some team in 2012.

St. Louis Rams QB Kellen Clemens said he's becoming more comfortable with the team's offense, and acknowledged he made some mistakes on some underthrown balls last week. 'I've got to get better and I will be,' Bradford said. 'I hate losing as much as I love winning.'

St. Louis Rams QB Kellen Clemens went 25-for-36 for 229 yards and one touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15.
Fantasy Impact: Clemens played well in a starting role considering the circumstances.

St. Louis Rams QB Kellen Clemens received the majority of practice reps with the first-team offense Wednesday, Dec. 14. 'I'm putting a lot of time in (to learn the offense),' Clemens said. 'By Sunday I should be good to go. Anytime you can get reps it helps.'
Fantasy Impact: We expect Clemens to get the start this week. He is not a viable fantasy option, though.

St. Louis Rams QB Kellen Clemens received some snaps with the first-team offense during practice Saturday, Dec. 10.
Fantasy Impact: Clemens could be thrown right into the first his first game with the Rams but please don't bother with him on your fantasy team.

St. Louis Rams QB Kellen Clemens split first-team reps with QB Tom Brandstater in practice Friday, Dec. 9. QBs Sam Bradford (ankle) and A.J. Feeley (thumb) each missed practiced again.
Fantasy Impact: Brandstater is likely to start but Clemens could get some work if Brandstater struggles.
The St. Louis Rams claimed QB Kellen Clemens off waivers from the Houston Texans Wednesday, Dec. 7.
Fantasy Impact: He could be the top backup for the Rams this week with two quarterbacks hurting.
