Norwood got very little playing time his first season with the Rams. He was inactive some weeks and had just 24 carries for 61 yards. He has 69-rushing yards the last two seasons. Norwood has some past success but a history of knee issues, which seems to have zapped some of his quickness. Norwood has topped 600-rushing yards just twice and his career high in rushing yards is 633, which came his rookie season. Norwood just seems to lack some of his burst from previous seasons. He is a big-play back and solid receiver out of the backfield. He fills the role of change of pace back well. He isn't a great inside runner, which is why he has never been an every-down back.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Norwood just isn't the same back as past years. He is fighting for his NFL life and we don't see a turnaround in 2012. He might get a few hundred total yards and a score or two but that is it.
