SUMMARY
Wide Receiver Rank: #9
Overall: #33

Bowe finally put it all together last season, having a career year for a resurgent Chiefs' offense. Bowe scored 15 touchdowns, putting him among the league leaders. He also topped 1,000 yards for the second time in his career and had 70 or more receptions for the third time in four seasons. Bowe was nearly unstoppable for a seven-week stretch of games. In those seven games, he scored 13 touchdowns and had four 100-yard games. Bowe did come crashing back down to earth some after those games, getting a catch for three yards the next two games. He was able to rebound a little after those two games, which was encouraging (notched a 100-yard game two weeks later). He'll continue to be the top target in the Chiefs' offense, which is run first but showing the tendency to pass a tad more. Bowe has a lot of ability. He is a big, strong receiver that isn't afraid to make the tough catch. He also is a load to bring down in the space because of his size and elusiveness. Bowe still struggles with some drops, lacking concentration at times.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Bowe is probably going to go too high based off last season. He isn't likely to match his touchdown totals, especially with the Chiefs playing a tougher schedule. Bowe struggled against the better defenses last season. Even with that said, he can have a 1,000-yard season and get around 10 touchdowns. He is a low-end No. 1 or top No. 2 fantasy receiver.
The Kansas City Chiefs could place the franchise tag on impending free-agent WR Dwayne Bowe or CB Brandon Carr this offseason.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe (concussion) may have suffered a concussion after taking a hit to the head in Week 17.
Fantasy Impact: This isn't a big concern going forward considering he has plenty of time to get healthy.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe had six receptions for 93 yards in Week 17 against the Denver Broncos, but he was held out of the end zone. Bowe finished with 1,159 receiving yards, his third career 1,000-yard season. He was actually just three yards off from eclipsing the career-high 1,162 yards he had last season. However, he had 10 fewer touchdown grabs than he did in 2010, finishing with five this season.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe caught six passes for 80 yards and one touchdown against the Oakland Raiders in Week 16.
Fantasy Impact: Bowe is having a very good season despite the erratic quarterback play. He gets it done about every week.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe had a game-high seven receptions with a team-best 69 yards in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bowe has managed 62 or more yards in nine of his past 10 games despite some shaky play at quarterback recently.
Fantasy Impact: Bowe produced in a tough matchup and continues to get his numbers despite poor quarterback play. He is a must start for fantasy teams.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe had seven receptions for 87 yards in the Week 11 game against the New England Patriots Monday, Nov. 21. Bowe bounced back nicely after posting just two grabs for 17 yards in Week 10. Still, he has failed to find the end zone in five straight games dating back to Week 5.
Fantasy Impact: We are still concerned about Bowe going forward with Tyler Palko at quarterback. His numbers are going to suffer with Palko at the helm.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe caught six passes for 88 yards in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins.
Fantasy Impact: Bowe continues to post his consistent numbers. He has been rock solid all season as the No. 1 for the Chiefs.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe had four receptions for 62 yards in the Week 8 game Monday, Oct. 31, against the San Diego Chargers. Bowe has been held out of the end zone in back-to-back games after scoring four times in three games from Week 3 through 5.
Fantasy Impact: Bowe has still played well this season, posting consistent reception and yardage totals.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe will meet the San Diego Chargers in Week 8. He had four grabs for 67 yards and a TD in Week 3 in San Diego, kicking off a three-game scoring streak with four TDs which ended in Week 7. It was rare to see Bowe do well against the Chargers, as he managed just two catches for 16 yards in two meetings last season, even though the rest of his 2010 was mostly phenomenal.
Fantasy Impact: Bowe is really playing well right now and is a must start no matter the matchup.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe had a game-high six receptions for 76 yards in Week 7 against the Oakland Raiders. Bowe has 56 or more yards in eight of his nine career meetings against the Raiders, but he has visited the end zone just once in the span.
Fantasy Impact: Bowe continue to produce consistent weekly numbers. He is having another fine season.
