Gonzalez played eight games last season but didn't catch a single pass. He was once again plagued by injury, causing him to miss some time. Gonzalez has played a full season just once in five seasons. He does have two seasons with 550-plus yards, though, and has some ability when healthy. Gonzalez is a big-play threat with good speed and solid hands. But as noted, he has lacked consistency and battled injuries, which hurts his chances for this coming year. A fresh start with a new team could be just the thing to get him going, but he needs that chance at this point.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Gonzalez is a risk for fantasy teams. Consider him a late-round pick in deeper leagues. If he lands in the right situation, Gonzalez might get 500 yards and a few scores, but his production likely will be sporadic.
