He is expected to start during Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins, but Beck has done little in his three starts to suggest he'll be a long-term option for the Redskins. 'I don't want it to continue,' Beck said of the team's offensive problems. 'I want to put my foot down, and I want it to stop.' Beck went on to say the team has to get better and it has to start with him. Head coach Mike Shanahan said it is easy to blame the quarterback, but the team has lost some pieces of the puzzle recently and it has helped lead to the quarterback looking pretty average.
