Summary

Kicker Rank: #37
Overall: #497

After a terrible season in Dallas, Folk rebounded fairly well last year with the Jets, his first with the team. He scored 127 points and made 77 percent of his field-goal attempts. Folk did have a few struggles, though, missing three kicks less than 40 yards. His job isn't guaranteed in 2011, but it is his to lose. Folk has a very strong leg, making him an asset on kickoffs as well as long-distance kicks. He does have some accuracy issues, but made some strides last season after a few disastrous years in Dallas. Folk has 127 or more points two of four seasons in the league.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
As long as he keeps the starting job in New York, Folk has good value. He plays in a good offense and should get plenty of chances, similar to last year. Consider him a low-end No. 1 for fantasy teams. He has some risk because of his shaky job status, but the upside is also high after having a productive year for fantasy teams in 2010.
